The paper with my friend Rafael Raimundo published in AmNat on the effect of mutualism intimacy on adaptive speciation has now been retweeted 7 times. Parabéns Rafael!
Dr. Nelson Hairston Jr. from Cornell just visited the department. I really enjoyed talking science with him and he gave me some solid feedback on one of my papers in prep. On top of being an amazing, sharp ecologist, he is a pretty fun guy to talk to! Quote from N.H.Jr.: "There's only one world so everything is pseuroreplicated... time to move on guys!"
I've just resubmitted my paper on individual variation and interaction strengths, let's hope for the best!
Check out this nice paper that just came out in The American Naturalist on how the intimacy of mutualistic interactions affects speciation. Thanks to my dear friend Rafael Raimundo for inviting me to collaborate with him in this cool project!
Just giving the news blog a try! Here I will post news related to papers I submit, get in review or get published as well as other related miscellanea. I will also tag papers from other people I really enjoyed reading.
